General principles
We host this website in Switzerland. We also use Google Workspace for email, Google Calendar and Google Meet for appointments, and Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the contact form from spam. These services are described below. We use Google Analytics for website statistics, with an opt-out available at the bottom of every page. We do not use it for advertising.
Hosting
This website is hosted on an Infomaniak VPS located in Switzerland. When you visit this site, your IP address is temporarily processed by the server for technical delivery of the page. No personal data is stored beyond standard server logs.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland) to understand visits and interactions, such as page views, clicks and contact-form outcomes. Google receives cookie identifiers, browser and device information, page paths and interaction data, and processes your IP address to derive approximate location; GA4 does not log or store IP addresses for visitors in Switzerland, the EU or the UK. We do not send contact-form contents to Analytics. Google may process data outside Switzerland, including in the USA. We use these statistics in our interest in understanding and improving this website for our Swiss audience. You can object at any time using “Disable analytics” at the bottom of any page. This stops further analytics requests in this browser; your choice is remembered until you change it or clear your browser storage. Advertising signals and advertising personalisation are disabled.
Event-level data in Google Analytics is retained for 14 months. User-data retention is 14 months and restarts on new activity. Standard aggregated reports are not subject to this retention setting.

Booking
We run Cal.com on our Swiss server to manage appointments. When you book a meeting, it stores your name, email address, and any notes you provide. Appointment details are also processed through our Google Calendar and Google Meet integrations to create the calendar event and meeting link. Confirmation emails are sent through Google Workspace. These services may process data outside Switzerland.
Fonts
All fonts used on this website (Urbanist, Inter) are self-hosted. No connections to external font services (such as Google Fonts) are made.
Contact form
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. This data is transmitted via Google Workspace SMTP relay for email delivery and is used solely to respond to your enquiry.
Spam protection
The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which tells real visitors apart from automated spam bots. When you use the form, Turnstile receives your IP address, basic information about your browser and device, and signals about how you interact with the page. According to Cloudflare, this data is used solely to verify that you are human — not for advertising or cross-site tracking — and is retained for a limited period. Turnstile may store a short-lived technical entry in your browser to remember that the check passed; it is not used to track you. Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the USA, so this is one of the few cases where data leaves Switzerland; the transfer is governed by Cloudflare's standard contractual clauses. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting this website from abuse. Details: Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum, which covers this specific processing, and their general privacy policy.
Cookies
We store your theme preference and analytics opt-out choice in localStorage. Unless you opt out, Google Analytics sets first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions; we limit their lifetime to 180 days. Opting out stops tracking and removes these cookies in this browser. Spam protection may also store a short-lived technical entry, as described above.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at hello@isk.ch.
